ABOUT AFRA

Afra Brown began teaching preschool ten years ago. She combined two of her passions- teaching children and writing, to become a published children’s book author. Her unique, innovative series, The Adventures with Kelly and Layla series teaches children many useful lessons including diversity, self-esteem, tolerance, acceptance, health, forgiveness, and the power of influence. Her standalone book, Fujo the Bonobo educates children on compassion, empathy, and the potential dangers of distraction.

Just like in her books, Afra expresses some her deepest thoughts and feelings in her blog. Afra chooses to help heal herself and others through her words. She believes that expressing thoughts and emotions through writing helps you and the person you are writing for.
